A veteran of the US Army, Carson Willingham received an honorable discharge in 2009 after reaching the rank of sergeant. Currently a sales manager with Cowboy Stone LLC, Carson Willingham also maintains a seasonal position selling booth space and sponsorship for SportsCon, an interactive professional sports convention.

Held annually in Dallas, SportsCon allows sports fans to interact with more than 200 professional athletes and industry figures. While the 2020 iteration of the event was canceled due to Covid-19, it plans to resume in 2021. To attend, sports fans can choose from either General Admission or VIP passes, both of which entitle the individual to gain entry to all SportsCon events. VIP pass holders are additionally able to interact with athletes and enjoy private seating and entry.

SportsCon spans numerous sports, featuring figures from the NBA, NFL, MLB, UFC, and the world of boxing. Fans can interact with athletes up close and personally, tossing a football with a quarterback or attending a basketball camp with an NBA player. Fans can also take photographs and receive autographs from their favorite athletes.
